When applying for Financial Aid, we recommend that you come in for an interview with one of our Financial Aid advisors to determine your eligibility and to receive a list of items needed to complete your application. You may set up this interview at any time by contacting our Office of Financial Aid at 1.888.324.CHEF or email us.
Applying for Federal Aid
Securing aid starts with just a few simple steps.
- Submit your Application for Enrollment to The FCI.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online using The FCI's school code 025754.
- Complete these forms:
Please make copies of all forms and documents for your records (including your FAFSA and confirmation) and mail the original completed forms to:

Our Office of Financial Aid will process everything for you and contact you to let you know if there are any other forms that need to be completed. If you have any questions or need assistance, you can stop by with your paperwork, email, or call us at 1-888-324-CHEF.
Once the FAFSA is processed, you'll receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) in the mail within a few weeks, which summarizes the information you provided on your report and tells you your Expected Family Contribution (EFC). This figure will be used to determine your financial aid.
If you need to make any corrections or changes to your SAR, you can submit the change online. If your SAR is selected for verification, then you'll need to fill out the Verification Worksheet, as well.

Applying for Alternative Loan Programs
To
